STATIC AND DYNAMIC 2-DIMENSIONAL FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF CONTINUA

VERSAT-2D is a software package consisting of three computer programs, namely, VERSAT-2D Processor, VERSAT-S2D and VERSAT-D2D.  VERSAT-2D Processor is a Windows based graphic interface program.  It serves as a pre and post processor for VERSAT-S2D and VERSAT-D2D.  The program is used to generate a finite element mesh, define soil zones, assign material properties, define boundary conditions, assign pressure loads, and generate input data for VERSAT-S2D & VERSAT-D2D. VERSAT-S2D is a computer program for static 2D plane-strain finite element analyses of stresses, deformations, and soil-structure interactions.  VERSAT-D2D is a computer program for dynamic 2D plane-strain finite element analyses of earth structures subjected to dynamic loads from earthquakes, machine vibration, waves or ice actions......VERSAT-2D 2010 Free Trial Version

DYNAMIC 3D FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF SINGLE PILES AND PILE GROUPS

VERSAT-P3D is a finite element program for quasi-3D nonlinear dynamic analyses of single piles and pile groups in frequency and time domain (Wu and Finn, 1997, Canadian Geotechnical Journal 34: 34-52). The frequency-domain analysis is used to determine dynamic stiffness and damping as a function of vibration frequency, and to compute moment and shear response of piles subjected to loading at the pile top or at the cap of a pile group. Dynamic time-domain analysis is used to directly compute pile response to seismic loading and therefore allow direct determination of the time-dependent stiffness variation of single piles or pile groups....VERSAT-P3D 2006 Free Trial
